Exploring a Vacant / Abandoned Italianate Mansion in Pennsylvania Here we are at this beautiful Italian Villa Style mansion, sitting vacant needing some love. Located in Pennsylvania, this historical mansion sits vacant since 2006. Built in 1852 by Mr. Kennedy, this mansion sat on a Knoll and overlooked a small town, once huge for limestone. The home was built using Italianate architecture. When Mr. Kennedy passed away, his wife took over the home which then she sold it to many owners after that. One of the owners in the early 1900s was one of the last remaining Civil War Veterans to be alive in the county. The house had some additions put on in the early 1900s and in the 1950s. Right after 1955, things started to change to the area and the town. It was decided that a highway was to be co...

This is what the interior of the Chinqua Penn Plantation looked like when it was still fully furnished. The contents of the house have since been auctioned off. Federal agents seized the property and assets in September 2010. The items inside the mansion were sold at auction in April 2012. Chinqua Penn went into foreclosure in September 2013. This footage was used for location scouting and planning purposes in 2007 for the films "Mandie and the Secret Tunnel" and "Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure." Because this video served as a visual storyboard for the films, there are numerous 360 degree shots of many rooms and several real-time walkthroughs of the routes taken to get from one room to another. So this explore is going down in history as the best explore we have ever been on. So i heard that this abandoned mansion was going up for auction so thought i would go up and have a look and i was not expecting to find what i found. This place was like going into a time capsule everything was still as it was when the owners left beds were made perfect as if people were going to use it. At one point i started to feel as if this place was not abandoned anymore just because it was in such good condition. We thought we had explored all we could explore and was ready to go home but we realised we still had a big section of the house to explore so we went around the back of the mansion realised there was a hidden door and behind that door was amazing and the best bit of the explore Documenting...

It was one of the largest homes in that area. Most homes nearby are valued at about $2 million. This beautiful mansion was built in the early 1900s, with construction beginning on it in the late 1890s. During its life this mansion was owned originally by a very prominent and wealthy Pennsylvania family. Until eventually being sold to a church in the 1940s where it was used for multiple different purposes and also an orphanage for some time. In its final decades this mansion was used as and old folks home/ retirement care facilities where old people with disabilities like Alzheimer's received daily care and treatment staying in the mansion. Which is probably why all of the restrooms toilets had bars next to them to assist the elderly and also would explain the sign that I found towards the end of the video about Alzheimer's care. The place closed in the early 2000s and has sat decayin...

Welcome to another abandoned house video. This abandoned house was built in 1906. The outside of this abandoned property was completely covered in Ivy. This home is now demolished and had unclaimed stuff still inside. In this abandoned house video you will only see half of the stuff that was left behind. I finished the exploration with about 45 mins before the demo crew arrived. About 4 to 5 rooms I was unable to film due to the water damage, along with items piled up in the hallway. You will not believe how much stuff I cut out of this video. Wedding albums, vacation photos, furniture, stacks of paintings...some I could get to, some I could not. Renovations to the house was 1915. Thank you for watching this sad abandoned house video. Please consider subscribing for more urban e...
I have been to this location 3 times, once in May of 2013 and not a access point could be found, again in April of 2014 and I was very lucky to find an open door. I made a choice to return in June of 2014 just to see how things changed. This video is a combination of 2 visits. You can see the changes that happened in the short time between visits. Such a huge house, with features I have not seen in any regular house. A dance studio, grand staircase and my favorite was the elevator. It appears the house either had some salvaging done or looters took advantage of the imminent demise of this house. And I guess as long as it doesn't end in the trash, I don’t care either way. The property and landscape were clearly cared for and judging by the size of the garage on the back part of the ...
a very amazing place for sure! Been wanting to film it for a long time. Finally got a chance to check it out.
Urbex of what was the most expensive house in Canada. This property sold for $35,000,000 and the wrecking ball will soon claim this beauty to make way for multi million dollar condos.
Welcome to Lehigh Acres, Florida. Half-built homes litter the seemingly endless grid of half acre plots in a town built entirely on speculation. Dreams were built on the promises of Lehigh Acres, where the social benefits of a wholesome American town were second only to the vast economic potential of affordable land ownership. It was about fulfilling the American dream on dirt plots in southwest Florida. For decades, things went roughly according to plan. By the mid-2000s, however, the dreams that were sold as half-acre lots to unsuspecting Midwesterners had turned into gold, surging in price at breakneck speed. And then, like a game of musical chairs, the music stopped. DREAMS FOR SALE is a documentary film that traces the bittersweet story of the rise and fall of Lehigh Acres, told th...

This Historic Resort In West Virginia once served as a place of Healing not only for the springs rich in minerals that run through the property , it was also used as a hospital for both sides during the civil war. As you one may imagine there were deaths associated with sickness as well as battle wounds on and in this property. Numerous reports of Supernatural activity have been reported by guests and Paranormal Investigators here. Full bodied civil war soldiers, shadow figures , strange light anomalies, EVP's Disembodied voices and unexplained footsteps run rampant here. Real spirit activity.
Check out Parker's channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP6LmDFzVFI-xEytdoKQlsA This Maryland State Series video and documentary, takes us to an abandoned Baltimore mansion built for the distinguished gentleman Charles Joseph Baker by Baltimore's very first native architect T. Buckler Ghequier. This scary abandoned psychiatric hospital was originally named "Athol" but the name was later changed to "Gundry" and by extension "Glass" hospital after the two main owners of the asylum. My script for the video: Athol was designed by the distinguished Baltimore architect T. Buckler Ghequier known to many as Baltimore’s very first professional native architect. Athol had a rather delightful antiquated charisma in its time, the plans for which were crafted similarly to the rustic and quite vis...
